Steve has over 25 years of experience operating and advising small and mid-sized companies to help them achieve transformational growth. As a Partner at Brainheart Growth, Steve specializes in conducting Quality of Revenue Generation assessments to pinpoint where companies need to take action to achieve more rapid, consistent, and sustainable revenue growth.

Before Brainheart Growth Steve was CEO of Greenwich Associates for 12 years, where he managed the company's transition from a professional services consulting firm into a globally recognized subscription data & analytics company. During the transformation, he was responsible for driving the strategic vision and implementing a comprehensive business transformation program covering strategy, governance, product mix, distribution, and new market expansion.  This transformation of Greenwich Associates into a subscription data, recurring revenue, and predominately B2B SaaS company culminated with its sale of global analytics leader CRISIL (an S&P Global company) in February 2020.  Steve served as President at CRISIL for 2.5 years after the sale, running the legacy Greenwich business and additional product lines where his results included doubling EBITA and EBITA margins of the combined Benchmarking & Analytics division.  Before becoming CEO, Steve was a practicing consultant as well as head of product development.

Steve earned his MBA in Marketing & Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in English Literature from Colgate University.
